Privacy policy
Short version: the numbers you type into our calculators stay on your device. We have no accounts, we set no cookies of our own, and we do not sell anything about you.

The calculators
Every calculation runs inside your own browser. Your pay rate, hours, dates and state are never sent to us. When you type into a calculator, your answers are added to the address in your browser bar so you can save or share the result. That address stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
Your light or dark setting
If you pick light or dark mode, your browser remembers that choice on your device. It is not a cookie and it is never sent to us.
Visit counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are slow. It sets no cookies, does not follow you to other sites and does not build a profile of you. We see totals such as page views, countries and page speed, never who you are.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and to block attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
If you write to corrections@wagerule.com, we use your message and address only to answer you and to fix the rule you reported. We do not add you to any list.
Advertising
There are no ads on the site today. Before any start, this page will explain which advertising partner is used and what it collects, and visitors in places that require it will be asked for consent first.
Links to other sites
Each rule links to the law or the labor office it comes from. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Children
WageRule is meant for adults and teenagers with jobs. We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 13.
